| Abstract | This document is a report of WP4 activities, namely DC Distribution. It contains Final results about the research activity started during M4 and completed in M24. Deliverable D4.1 contained the framework of D-Cinema distribution and preliminary results of the proposed Distribution Techniques. This document provides further results described incrementally with respect to D4.1. Main topics of this Report are: * Pre-recorded Movies Distribution * Last-mile WiMAX based distribution * Live events delivery * Network operation centre for Digital Cinema * Application-Layer Techniques for Robust Streaming * Streaming of JPEG 2000 over wireless networks * Hardware for JPWL transcoding * Intra Theater D-Cinema Distribution For each tropic relevant performance is presented via simulation results and experimental measurements (where applicable). |
